Beechcraft King Air BE1900/BE350 – Differences Training

Course Description

Upon completion of this course the student will have the necessary knowledge and skills to demonstrate that they are competent in the operation of Beechcraft King Air BE350. Completion of this course will also satisfy the requirements for an IPC, MEIR renewal and recency requirements.

6 day program, including:

  • 3 Ground School theory days 
  • 2 Full Flight Simulator (FFS) sessions
  • 1 Full Flight Simulator (FFS) session for assessment 

Pilots will be trained using our onsite King Air Full Flight Simulator at Flight Options Sunshine Coast. An additional training day will be added to the course for candidates lacking experience with Collins Pro Line 21 Avionics.

Ground School theory includes:

  • Aircraft systems (emphasising differences)
  • Avionics
  • Flight planning
  • Loading
  • Performance
  • Exam

Flight Training includes:

  • Introduction to Standard Operating Procedures
  • Normal/Abnormal operations
  • Pre-test
  • CASA Flight Review and Instrument Proficiency Check (IPC)

To be eligible to commence the Beechcraft King Air BE1900/BE350 Differences Training, you must hold at least:

  • Private, Commercial or Air Transport Pilot Licence
  • Multi-Engine Instrument Rating (IR MEA)
  • BE350/1900 Type Endorsement
