This course provides single pilot training for holders of type ratings for Cessna Citation C500/C550/C560 aircraft who passed the flight test for the rating conducted as a multi-crew rating. The objective of this course is for the pilot to gain the skills and knowledge necessary to perform single pilot operations to a proficient standard. At the successful completion of this course, the student will be issued with a C500/C550/C560(SP) Single Pilot rating and a Single Pilot Instrument Proficiency Check (IPC).

3 day program, including:
- 2 Ground School theory days
- 1 in-aircraft flight session
- 1 in-aircraft flight session for assessment
Aircraft sessions will be conducted in customer supplied aircraft at Flight Options Sunshine Coast or their location.
Ground School theory includes:
- Aircraft systems review
- Single pilot resource management (SRM)
Flight Training includes:
- Normal/Abnormal operations
- Type Rating flight test and Instrument Proficiency Check (IPC)
To be eligible to commence the Cessna C500 Series Single Pilot Upgrade Training, you must hold at least:
- Current Civil Aviation Medical Certificate
- Multi-Engine Instrument Rating (IR MEA)
- Type Rating C500/C550/C560
- Have logged:
- > 1,000 hrs total pilot flight time, including > 50 hrs flight time at night
- > 75 hrs instrument flight time
- > 40 hrs instrument flight time in actual meteorological conditions
- > 500 hrs flight time as pilot in command or co-pilot, in turbojet or turbine powered aeroplanes
