The Cessna Citation II (Model 550) series of Citation jets are light corporate jets built by Cessna. The heritage of the C550 has its beginnings as a stretched iteration of the Citation I (500), achieving FAA certification in 1978. The C550 II/SP is a single pilot version, the improved S/II first flew on February 14, 1984. The Citation Bravo (C550) with upgraded new avionics and P&WC PW530A turbofan jet engines was released 1996. Production continued to 2006 with 1,184 across all 550 models delivered between 1978 and 2006 and 350 Bravo C550’s delivered between 1996 and 2006.
