Overview

This Cessna Citation Differences Training course has been designed IAW the requirements of CASA Instrument “Prescription of aircraft and ratings”. It covers the differences training required (DTR) for the following variants of the Cessna C500/C550/C560 aircraft type rating:

  • C500/C501
  • C550 (all models excluding Bravo)/C551 Series
  • C560V
  • C550 Bravo/Cessna C560 Ultra/C560 Encore
  • C560 Encore +

Upon completion of the Cessna Citation Differences Course, students will have the necessary knowledge and skills to demonstrate that they are competent in the operation of the other aircraft type. Completion of the course will satisfy the requirements for an IPC and flight review.

The C500/C550/C560 Differences Training is a 5-day program and is conducted at our Simulator and Flight Training Centre located on the Sunshine Coast in Queensland, Australia utilising Flight Options aircraft or customer supplied aircraft at their location dependent upon which differences training is required.

Prerequisites

To be eligible to commence the Cessna Citation Differences Training Course, you must hold at least:

  • Private, Commercial or Air Transport Pilot Licence
  • Multi-engine instrument rating
  • Current Aviation Medical
  • C500/C550/C560 Type Rating as appropriate
